Call for Abstracts |
Abstracts are invited for plenary oral presentations or poster presentations. If you submit an abstract for consideration by the Committee and it is accepted for presentation, you must register to attend the Conference. You can register online on the "registration page" on this website.
This year the top 5 abstracts submitted will receive a complimentary registration to the conference.
Abstracts must be submitted online via the submission button when it is available. Faxed or posted abstracts will NOT be accepted. Please submit your abstract by 4pm Monday 8 June 2015. Notice of acceptance will be sent to submission authors by Monday 22 June 2015. Abstract authors are asked for carefully study the submission instructions.
Please submit your abstract online using the prescribed template. Please ensure you read the following information before submitting an abstract.
WHAT TYPE OF ABSTRACT SHOULD BE SUBMITTED?
We welcome abstracts pertaining to all fields relevant to clinical research. The abstracts may be research-focused, clinical-focused, or programme-focused. All abstracts must include data that supports the abstract's statements and conclusions.


Plenary Oral Presentations: If you are selected to offer an oral presentation you will need to present it during the conference sessions. The presentation is likely to be 8 minutes long with 2 minutes of Q&A. These timings will be confirmed upon confirmation of acceptance of your abstract as an oral presentation. Standard audiovisual equipment is provided: lectern, microphone, PC laptop, data projector and screen. All presentations will be PowerPoint presentations to be saved as PowerPoint for PC to CDROM, USB Flash Drive. Laptop changeover at the Conference WILL NOT be permitted.
Poster Presentations: There will be a scientific poster display in the Industry Exhibition Hall. Programmed presentation and discussion periods may be scheduled during the lunch breaks or the programme sessions depending on time availability.
You will receive confirmation by email that the abstract has been received. If you do not receive confirmation please contact the Conference Managers (conferences@w4u.co.nz). Your submitted abstract will be considered by the scientific committee for presentation.

Authors / Presenters: Show initial and then surname only. Presenter's name underlined with asterisks used in conjunction with the Department and Institution

Conclusions
Awards may be presented in the following categories
“Best Oral Presentation”
“Best Poster”
“People’s Choice Poster”



The BODY of your abstract should include these headings in bold:

- Variability and Error

PRESENTATION AWARDS
Awards may be presented in the following categories



Assessment will be based on content and presentation and the award will be open to all papers accepted by the Organising Committee. The judges will be appointed by the Organising Committee and the decision of the judges will be final. The awards will be presented at the end of the conference and the same will be posted on the NZACRes website shortly after the conference.
